Recipe of Chocolate Cupcakes with Mocha Frosting
Ingredients of Chocolate Cupcakes with Mocha Frosting:
- Sugar 1-1/2 cups
- Butter 5 oz
- Eggs 2
- Flour 1-2/3 cup
- Buttermilk 1-1/4 cups
- Coffee 1/4 cup
- Baking soda 1-1/2 tsp
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Coffee powder 1 tsp
- Cocoa powder 2/3 cup
For Mocha Butter Cream:
- Butter 1/2 cup
- Icing sugar 5 cups
- Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
- Coffee 1/4 cup
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Method of Chocolate Cupcakes wit Mocha Frosting:
Beat butter an sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, buttermilk, coffee and vanilla. Then add baking soda, flour, salt,cocoa and coffee powder, beating until well mixed. Bake in paper-lined cupcake case at 180 degree C for 18 to 20 mins or until toothpick comes out clean.
Make the butter cream by beating the butter until soft, then adding the sugar, cocoa
, coffee and salt, and mixing until creamy and smooth.
Fill a piping bag and and pipe out the frosting on the cupcakes.
